About

I turn AI features into product lines that make money.

Akhilesh Subramanian

Building is getting cheap, and judgement is not. I choose what is worth building, cut to the critical slice, wire the system behind it, instrument it so we know it worked, and kill what is not. Product, go-to-market, and the organisation all running on the same bet.

For the last five years I've led product at SuperOps, an AI-first PSA-RMM platform for managed service providers around the world. I own the roadmap across AI, ticketing, projects, contracts, and invoicing, which in practice means stitching service delivery, endpoint management, and revenue operations into one platform instead of five disconnected tools. I took the product from nothing to its first million in ARR and kept going, through launches like Monica AI (the first retrieval-based product in our category), Contracts 2.0, Smart Tracker, unified runbooks, and agent-based chat. I designed how we monetise AI, and I shaped the 2026 thesis the platform now runs on: AI should live inside the default workflow, where it quietly reduces manual effort, recovers leaked revenue, and gives a small team more leverage than it has any right to.

That work serves more than 1,200 MSPs. It has driven double-digit year-on-year growth in ticketing and invoicing adoption, and the profitability tooling underneath it helps customers find six figures of EBITDA they were leaking without realising it. The consolidation thesis takes an MSP's tool spend from around $6,400 per technician a year to under $2,000.

Before product, I spent four years at Freshworks in presales and go-to-market across the UK and ASEAN. I made President's Club in 2018, and more usefully I picked up a commercial instinct that still shapes how I build, the habit of treating the product story and the sales story as the same story. I hold a PGDM in Strategy and Innovation from Warwick Business School, which is where I learned to think in market structures rather than feature lists.

What I actually care about is turning LLMs, retrieval, and agentic workflows into outcomes you can measure. Adoption, profitability, retention, leverage. Not demos. I think in systems, I write things down, and I can hold a vision through pressure without mistaking stubbornness for conviction. I do my best work next to founders and product leaders who treat product as a craft.

Right now I'm leading the market scan and platform thesis for our next major bet, an AI-native, autonomous IT-operations platform.

Part of owning a launch is being the one who explains it. These are product videos I fronted, walking through the launches above and the thinking behind them. Proof the work shipped, and that I can carry the story in public, on camera.
